WHAT THE WINEMAKERS ARE SAYING
“Pretty straw yellow robe, fairly sustained. From the opening, an exemplary fruit dominates a particularly expressive and fragrant nose. Beautiful citrus, pear and Mirabelle plum aromas, complemented by a pleasant touch of minerality. Superb texture. Fleshy mouth dominated by citrus. Oily, coated, almost unctuous finish for a particularly charming vintage. […] This premier cru is one of the best known in the region.” Jean Pierre & Alexandre Ellevin
Domaine Jean Pierre & Alexandre Ellevin is located 4km outside of Chablis in Burgundy and it is composed of a total of 13 ha. that includes wines from the following appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis and Premier Cru Vaucoupin and Vosgros.
