Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate 91 / 100
“ Based on the 2015 vintage and disgorged in August 2019 without dosage, the Chiquet brothers' NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 743 is showing nicely, offering up inviting aromas of freshly baked bread, crisp yellow orchard fruit, beeswax and dried white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, it's elegantly fleshy, with an enveloping core of fruit, a pinpoint mousse and a nicely defined, saline finish.”

“ The NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 743 (2015 base) is soft, open-knit and caressing. The natural radiance of 2015 comes through in the wine's ample, creamy feel. Apricot, spice, dried flowers, hazelnut and lightly honeyed notes are all beautifully laced together. The 743 is already a touch forward, in a good way, which makes it a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Disgorged: August 2019 and bottled with no dosage.”
About the winery: The Jacquesson champagne house is based in Dizy, in the Marne, 3 km north of Epernay and about 20 km south of Reims. It has nearly 30 hectares in production, mainly dominated by Chardonnay, a grape variety joined by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The vines are located in two distinct vineyards of Champagne: the Grande Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs, exclusively in villages classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru. The approximately 15% of grapes purchased from other winegrowers represent about 8 hectares, which are located on neighboring parcels, also classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru. Domaine Jacquesson alone covers more than 80% of its grape needs. In the Marne Valley, Jacquesson has vineyards in :
