WHAT THE WINEMAKERS ARE SAYING
The harvest began on September 6 in excellent conditions with impeccable sanitary conditions. After gentle pressing, the wines are vinified and aged in oak barrels in our 15th-century cellars for a period ranging from 12 to 14 months, with a moderate proportion of new wood.
Light gold. Very fresh floral fragrances (linden) on notes of white fruit (pear) and fresh almonds. Subtle minerality. A complex and beautiful volume. Dense texture. Lots of depth and a nice length at the end of the mouth on a slightly saline note.
Grape variety: Chardonnay
Soil: Clay-limestone Location: In the heart of the appellation, on the upper part of the mountain of Corton above the Villages of Pernand Vergelesses and Aloxe Corton
Food and wine pairing: Seafood, foie gras, fish in sauce or lobster. It goes particularly well with cheeses (Comté, Epoisses...)
