Wine Region:Bordeaux - France
Grape: 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot.
Tasting notes: At tasting, the wine reveals a deep red colour. On the nose, the wine is expressive and complex, and plays on its oaky and spicy fragrances. On the palate, the Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon 2011 shows a great richness and a lovely dimension that is characterized with touches of cherry liqueur. The finish of this wine is elegant and of great power.
"One of a handful of Cru Bourgeois from the Pauillac appellation, this wine exhibits a saturated dark ruby/plum color in addition to a sweet bouquet of black cherries and black currants, good acidity, ripe tannin and a moderately endowed character. This is a well-made Cru Bourgeois to consume over the next decade." Robert M. Parker, Jr., The Wine Advocate
Expert Rating: Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 87/100.
