Its Cuvée des Cadettes, first made at the end of the 19th century, is considered the oldest special cuvée of the appellation.

Cadettes comes from a single, historic vineyard of old vines, many 85 to 100 years old, on sandy-clay soils near the château. The grapes are hand-harvested, hand-sorted and co-fermented, and the wine is made only in the best vintages.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0269/5177/8374/files/Chateau_La_Nerthe_-_Chateauneuf_du_Pape_-_Cuvee_des_Cadettes_-_red_-_2016_-_750_ml.jpg?v=1793076437
