This collector’s case features the great vintages of the 1990s.

1990 — Made from a very early harvest, this wine is rich with a bouquet of spices and tobacco and has a superb velvety mouth-feel. The finish is both flavoursome and balanced and has tremendous length.

1994 — Unsettled weather conditions had no adverse effect at all on the making of a wine expressing lovely aromas of red berry fruit and notes of eucalyptus. With silky tannins, the palate is beautifully balanced and has superb length of flavour.

1995 — A vintage of outstanding weather conditions. This wine has a complex bouquet and shows a touch of age together with notes of fresh fruit. Creamy tannins and power come through on the palate followed by a stunning spicy finish with great length of flavour.

1996 — This vintage was saved by fine anticyclonic conditions just before the harvest. The wine shows wonderful classicism, a superb bouquet of flowers and tobacco as well as great finesse and elegance.

1998 — With rain forecast in September, the harvesting was done very quickly and resulted in a wine with a seductive vanilla and floral nose. Its vertical, smooth-textured palate is followed by a lovely lingering fruity finish.

1999 — An harvest picked rapidly gave birth to a very expressive and powerful wine, with notes of spices, tobacco and cherries coming through, mingling harmoniously with the wine’s silky tannins.
