The palate is medium-bodied and delicate, with a soft, succulent, gentle flowing quality, structured by fine, slightly firmer youthful tannins and crisp, stony minerality drawn from the rocky limestone bedrock of the site.

The vineyard sits high on the slope directly above Bonnes Mares and near grand cru sites, with minimal topsoil over a hard limestone base.
