Tasting Notes
This 2022 Domaine des Lambrays Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru “Clos du Cailleret” displays a crystalline, pale gold hue and immediately conveys a stony minerality. On the nose, broad white fruit notes—think ripe peach and juicy melon—are elegantly framed by subtle, toasty oak nuances. The palate is rich yet precise: vibrant acidity lifts the fruit, while the underlying mineral thread lends tension and focus. Its medium weight belies remarkable intensity, carrying through to a finely delineated, linear finish where melting, chalky minerality lingers with poise and poise and persistence. Let me know if you’d like the tone adjusted for trade brochures, consumer-facing tasting notes, or something more technical.
