Chateau Latour

Created around 1680, Château Latour is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in the Médoc, and a cornerstone of Bordeaux’s legendary First Growths (Premier Cru Classé 1855). Revered for its power, longevity, and elegance, Latour consistently produces wines that stand among the finest in the world.

At the heart of the estate lies the 47-hectare Enclos, a historic vineyard of old vines meticulously cared for, which forms the soul of the Grand Vin de Château Latour. These Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines are celebrated for their depth, structure, and remarkable ageing potential, often evolving beautifully for decades.

Beyond the Enclos, 18 hectares of younger vines and surrounding plots contribute to the estate’s second wine, Les Forts de Latour, a cuvée that combines accessibility with the pedigree of its illustrious sibling. A third label, Pauillac de Latour, offers an even more approachable expression of the estate’s terroir.

A pioneer in precision viticulture and sustainable practices, Château Latour is renowned for its uncompromising pursuit of quality, vintage after vintage.
