Provence Wines

Granted full AOC status in 1977 after a quarter-century as a VDQS, Côtes de Provence covers more than 20,000 hectares across 84 communes and remains best known for the palest, driest rosés in France, alongside a small band of Cru Classé estates recognised since 1955. Alongside it, the neighbouring appellations of Bandol and Les Baux-de-Provence bring structured, age-worthy reds from Mourvèdre and organic farming to the region's sun-drenched hillsides.
