Château La Tour de Mons
Dating back to the 13th century, Château La Tour de Mons is one of the historic jewels of the Margaux appellation. Located on a single block vineyard along the banks of the Garonne, the estate has long benefited from the gravelly soils that define the finest wines of the Médoc.
The property gained its name in 1623, when Pierre de Mons acquired it, and remained in his lineage until the late 20th century. Since the 1990s, new owners have invested heavily in the estate, with a modern winery, temperature-controlled cellar, vineyard drainage system, and sustainable vineyard management practices — all designed to honor the terroir while raising quality.
Today, Château La Tour de Mons produces wines that reflect the classic elegance, purity, and finesse of Margaux, balancing Cabernet Sauvignon’s structure with Merlot’s supple fruit. These wines are approachable in youth yet offer excellent ageing potential, embodying both tradition and refinement.
