Chateau Figeac

Château Figeac, Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, is one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates, celebrated for its elegance, refinement, and longevity. Its origins date back to the 2nd century AD, when the Gallo-Roman Figeacus family gave the estate its name.

The château’s vineyards enjoy a unique location on three gravelly ridges west of Saint-Émilion, giving Figeac its signature style: a rare blend in the Right Bank, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot in near equal proportions. This composition yields wines of structure, freshness, and remarkable ageing potential, often described as having a Médoc spirit with Right Bank finesse.

Owned by the Manoncourt family for over 120 years, Château Figeac has continuously shaped its legacy as a benchmark of Saint-Émilion. Today, it stands as one of the most admired Bordeaux estates worldwide, producing wines that balance power, harmony, and complexity.
