Château Guiraud

A Premier Grand Cru Classé of 1855, Château Guiraud has always followed its own path, guided by a spirit of independence and innovation. Famous for its commitment to biodiversity and organic farming, Guiraud became in 2011 the first 1855 Classified Growth to be certified Organic Agriculture, setting a benchmark for sustainability in Bordeaux.

The estate is also a pioneer in research, creating its own conservatory of grape varieties to safeguard genetic diversity and enhance vineyard resilience. Located in the heart of Sauternes, its vineyards produce wines of remarkable precision, purity, and aromatic refinement.

Aged for around 18 months in carefully selected oak barrels, Château Guiraud reveals a distinctive style: a precise bouquet, sensual texture, mineral smoothness, and elegant purity. The result is a Sauternes of both richness and finesse, capable of ageing gracefully for decades.
