Echezeaux

Échezeaux is a 37-hectare Grand Cru on Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, sitting between the celebrated Vosne-Romanée vineyards and Clos de Vougeot. Made up of eleven distinct climats with varying soil and exposure, quality here can vary more than at smaller, more uniform Grand Crus — but the best plots produce Pinot Noir of real finesse, perfumed and silky, often described as a lighter, more approachable cousin to the great Vosne-Romanée Grand Crus.

Échezeaux tends to offer some of the more accessible entry points into Vosne-Romanée-adjacent Grand Cru Burgundy, without the eye-watering prices of Romanée-Conti or La Tâche, while still delivering the aromatic complexity the neighbourhood is famous for.
