Pouilly-Fuisse

Pouilly-Fuissé is the most prestigious appellation of the Mâconnais, Burgundy's southernmost sub-region, producing exclusively white wine from Chardonnay grown on a dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs and rocky outcrops. Long considered the Mâconnais's answer to the great white wines of the Côte de Beaune, Pouilly-Fuissé gained its first Premier Cru classifications in 2020, formally recognising sites long known informally among growers as exceptional.

The wines are richer and rounder than most Chablis, but retain real minerality and freshness — generous, food-friendly white Burgundy that has earned a devoted following well beyond the Mâconnais.
