Vosne-Romanee

Vosne-Romanée is the spiritual heart of Burgundy, a small village on the Côte de Nuits that produces more Grand Cru wine per hectare than anywhere else on earth — including Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, La Romanée, and Grands Échezeaux. These are the wines that built Burgundy's global reputation for otherworldly Pinot Noir.

Even outside the Grand Crus, Vosne-Romanée's village and Premier Cru wines — from Les Malconsorts, Les Suchots, and Les Beaumonts — are defined by a signature combination of power and perfume rarely matched elsewhere: dark cherry and violet aromatics wrapped around a silky, deeply layered palate. Allocations are famously tight and prices reflect it, but the wines represent the pinnacle of what Pinot Noir can achieve.
