Rully

Rully sits at the northern end of Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise, producing both red and white wine in roughly equal measure — unusual for the region, where most villages lean heavily toward one colour. The whites, from limestone soils similar to those of Chablis, are fresh and citrus-driven, while the reds offer light, easy-drinking Pinot Noir.

Rully is also historically significant as one of the birthplaces of Crémant de Bourgogne, the traditional-method sparkling wine now made throughout the region. Its still wines, particularly the Premier Cru whites, remain some of the Côte Chalonnaise's most versatile and food-friendly bottles.
