Gems of the Right Bank
omerol and Saint-Émilion are Bordeaux at its most seductive merlot-dominant, velvety, and built around clay and limestone soils that produce wines of uncommon depth. Thursday's selection spans from a mature Nénin to the extraordinary Chapelle d'Ausone, with Clos La Gaffelière and Château Quintus in between. All are drinking well now and will only improve.
