Tasting notes
A remarkable wine from the Margaux appellation, Le Château Margaux is renowned the world over. Extraordinary, it owes all its qualities to its unique terroir and the passionate work of the men who strive to make it exceptional. Adorned with a sumptuous ruby-red color with tiled highlights, the 1999 vintage expresses a nose of great finesse in the glass. Subtly blending evolved notes of red fruit and vanilla. On the palate, the attack is rich, followed by a full, dense structure. The elegant tannic structure is perfectly integrated. The finish, with its morello cherry aromas, comes to rest like velvet at the end of the tasting.
