“Fresh aromas of ripe lemon verbena, hay, honeysuckle, lilac and gardenia intertwine in the glass. The palate adds a layer of citrus leading toward a saline and pithy finish. Although one is left desiring more fruit and tension, the wine has evident structure and a long finish."
About the winery: It is in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation that the Domaine du Roc des Boutires is located. The richness of the estate lies in its parcels: 14 terroirs are spread over the 4.2 hectares of the estate, all located on the Côte de Pouilly. The Chardonnay vines flourish with the greatest respect for the plant life. The soils are worked and all the harvest is done by hand. The vinification is based on the parcel-by-parcel approach chosen by Brice Laffond and the Parinet family.
