Exclusively owned by the Joly family, Clos de la Coulée de Serrant is a unique monopole appellation of just 7 hectares in the Loire Valley. Planted for nearly a millennium, this historic vineyard has long been celebrated — praised by Alexandre Dumas in the 1840s and later hailed by critics worldwide.

Since the early 1980s, Nicolas Joly has farmed the estate biodynamically, crafting wines of purity, energy, and astonishing longevity. Recognized by Wine Spectator as one of the Loire’s finest whites and described by Jancis Robinson as “destined to be one of the world’s great vineyards”, Coulée de Serrant is often regarded as the greatest Chenin Blanc in the world.
