The ruby-red colour still keeps the purple notes of its youth. Red fruit and berries come together to create the freshness of its flavour. The first impression in the mouth is a strong fruity flavour with cherry notes typical of Merlot, which give way to smooth tannins enveloped in its long finish.
About the winery:
It all started in 1865 with an exceptional couple, Jaques and Francoise Rochet. The duo bought the property between Dordogne and Garonne, recognised for the richness of its soils and its exceptional terrier. They built their family history around three founding values: work, adaptability and openness to the world. Thanks to the transmission of their know-how and their family values, the generations of winegrowers follow one another and the estate now has 6 castles on more than 100 hectares.
