The vintage 2022 brought unusual conditions. A very dry summer, followed by outstanding weather during the harvest, led us to produce mainly a sweet Coulée de Serrant. This only happens once every 15 to 20 years, it is truly rare. The last sweet vintage was 1995.

It’s true that consumers are generally more confident with our dry wines, but the 2022 has a sugar level of 32 g/l, which makes it almost half-dry. Therefore, this bottle can nearly be enjoyed as a dry wine.

With the quality of food available in Asia, and especially its refined use of spices, I strongly believe the Coulée 2022 Sweet offers brilliant pairings with main dishes. It also works in a more classical way as a starter with finger food, and of course, with cheese.
