Wine Region: Champagne - France
Elaborated from a blend of 3 Grands Crus and 2 Premiers Crus, these great champagnes from the Cuvées 700 range are characterized by their remarkable aging potential.
From the Cuvée N°733, the House stops selling it before the stock runs out, thus the maturation of the wine continues for 5 additional years.
This cuvée 741 "Dégorgement Tardif", after having spent 94 months on lees, was disgorged in April 2022. This clearly means that the house is confident in the wine’s potential. There is just 759 magnums available.
The main advantage of a late disgorgement is that the wine evolve in an aromatic and gastronomic way, reminding the old vintages but in keeping a great freshness.
The magnum of Cuvée 741 Dégorgement tardif from Jacquesson has a no dosage. It's mainly made from the great 2013 harvest and it's a very elegant, fine, and fresh champagne with a very good aging potential.

About the winery: The Jacquesson champagne house is based in Dizy, in the Marne, 3 km north of Epernay and about 20 km south of Reims. It has nearly 30 hectares in production, mainly dominated by Chardonnay, a grape variety joined by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The approximately 15% of grapes purchased from other winegrowers represent about 8 hectares, which are located on neighboring parcels, also classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru. Domaine Jacquesson alone covers more than 80% of its grape needs. In the Marne Valley, Jacquesson has vineyards in :
