Vines were first grown on the slopes of what is today Chateau Pavie in the 4th century. Painstakingly assembled plot by plot over several centuries today Chateau Pavie consists of a single 35 hectare block, making it one of the largest Premier Grand Cru Classé properties in Saint-Emilion. With low yields and plot-by-plot vinification, the Chateau strives to create wines that fully express its magnificent terroir. Marvellously structured and incredibly elegant, Chateau Pavie wines are aged for a full 2 years before being released.
