The history of Château Pavie stretches back to the 4th century, when vines were first planted on its limestone-rich slopes. Over the centuries, the estate was meticulously assembled plot by plot, and today it stands as a single 35-hectare vineyard block — one of the largest and most prestigious Premier Grand Cru Classé estates in Saint-Émilion.

The vineyard’s south-facing slopes and diverse soils provide ideal conditions for Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, yielding wines of remarkable depth and ageing potential. With low yields, careful plot-by-plot vinification, and 24 months of barrel ageing, Château Pavie consistently delivers wines that are both marvellously structured and elegantly refined.
