Savigny-Champ-Chevrey

Champ Chevrey is one of the recognised Premier Cru climats of Savigny-lès-Beaune, on Burgundy's Côte de Beaune. Like the rest of the appellation, it benefits from a sheltered valley position between the hills of Beaune and Aloxe-Corton, giving the wines a fresh, aromatic lift alongside the structure typical of Savigny's better sites.

Wines from this climat show the fruit-forward charm and moderate tannin that define Savigny-lès-Beaune, with the added depth and concentration that comes with Premier Cru status — a genuine step up in complexity from village-level Savigny at a price that remains sensible by Burgundy standards.
