Fixin

Fixin is the northernmost village of Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, bordering Marsannay and Gevrey-Chambertin, and one of the region's better-kept secrets. Without a Grand Cru of its own, Fixin has long flown under the radar despite producing structured, savoury Pinot Noir with real character — a style closer to its illustrious neighbour Gevrey-Chambertin than the price tag would suggest.

The village's Premier Crus, including Clos du Chapitre and Clos Napoléon, deliver firm tannins, dark fruit, and genuine ageing potential, making Fixin one of the best value entry points into serious Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
