Ladoix

Ladoix is the northernmost village of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, sharing the Corton hill with Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergélesses and producing small amounts of both Corton and Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru. Despite this pedigree, Ladoix remains one of the least-known appellations on the Côte de Beaune, largely because so little wine is made and released under the village's own name.

Ladoix's village and Premier Cru wines — both red and white — offer real quality at a fraction of the price of the surrounding Grand Crus, drawing on the same Corton hillside terroir. A genuine find for those willing to look beyond Burgundy's household names.
