Tasting notes
Grown in soils composed of chalky limestone, clay, and marlstone, this small-production cuvée is crafted from young vines and undergoes an 18-hour skin maceration before fermentation. The wine is then fermented and aged partly in neutral oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks, with the barrel portion being topped up (ouillé) throughout aging to preserve freshness.
The result is a beautifully expressive wine with a lemony, white-flower-inflected nose, bright, linear acidity, and a distinctive nutty, savory edge. It captures both tension and texture, offering a nuanced expression of its terroir and a vibrant, food-friendly profile.
