Tasting notes:Structure and ripe fruit go well together in this generous wine. Wood aging gives a toasty edge as well as flavors of bitter coffee and smokiness. Black-currant fruit is right there.

How to enjoy:Pairs well with red meats & Venison.

About the winery:Chateau Piron is a centuries-old winery dating back to 1699. Its 23 hectares of vineyards lie on the slopes of Saint-Morillon and they say that the wealth of these vines lies in the poverty of their soils.
