Fresh aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and redcurrant. Notes of sweet spices like cinnamon and cardamon, and floral touches. On the palate, tannins combine well with the wine's fruitiness, the substance demonstrates great finesse and the finish is pleasantly long.

"The 2018 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Malconsorts is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of cassis, plums, spices, smoked duck, potpourri and rich soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, rich and powerful, it's a concentrated, textural wine built around succulent acids and ripe tannins, its ample core of fruit complemented by enticing carnal nuances. As is often the case, this was vinified with some two-thirds whole clusters." William Kelley
