Wine Region: Burgundy - France
Grape: 100% Pinot Noir.
Tasting notes: Dense, powerful fruit and rich colour in a full-bodied red. Aromas of dark cherries, dark chocolate and a little star anise carry through to flavours of cherry, blackberry and plum, with complex hints of cocoa, leather and mushrooms.
Smooth body, refreshing acidity and firm tannins make this a match for duck or goose—or ratatouille—that will continue to evolve for five or more years.
Expert Reviews:
91/100 - Wine Spectator
"Features intense aromas of dark fruits, earth, and a touch of oak. The palate is robust with firm tannins and a lengthy finish "
