Gorgeous deep red in colour with garnet nuances, endowed with pleasing and promising viscosity. The nose is intense and expressive, evocative of floral scents (rose, peony). Then come delectable notes that impart a certain sucrosity (vanilla-scented cherry clafoutis, fruit coulis). Full-bodied and fresh, the start to the palate boasts pleasing tautness and structured tannins. Warm flavours of white chocolate, nougat and notes of beeswax intermingle harmoniously. Elegant spicy finish. This wine is endowed with character and lovely acidity that make it ideal for laying down. It will reveal its full potential as it ages.
