Tasting notes
A refined and elegant wine, opening with aromatic notes of citrus oil, green apple, white flowers, and subtle saline minerality. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied yet precise, with a satin-like texture, vibrant acidity, and layered flavors of pomelo, stone fruit, and crushed chalk. The finish is long and focused, driven by mineral tension and a touch of white pepper. Aged on fine lees for added depth, it shows both immediate finesse and excellent aging potential.
Expert rating
93/100 - Jasper Morris
A clear pale colour, with a little more opulence on the nose, even a suggestion of honeysuckle. Balanced on the palate between quite fine white fruit and the saline notes which are quite evident in 2021, with a fine long finish. A seasoning of salt and lemon. Will be approachable reasonably young.
