Gorgeous dark red colour and unctuous consistency. The nose is dense and fresh, but still a little closed. Scents of fruit sabayon, orange peel and spicy notes (clove). Well balanced palate with pleasant, perfectly in- tegrated acidity and elegant freshness. Flavours of fruit jellies along with smoky notes. Lovely tannins typical of a great wine. This is already a fas- cinating wine to taste and will only improve over time.

The story of Maison Edouard Delaunay is one of passion, resilience, and revival. Once a prestigious Burgundy négociant house, the family sold the estate 25 years ago — but in a remarkable twist of fate, Laurent Delaunay, great-grandson of the founder, bought it back and restored its legacy.
Since acquiring the winery, brand, and historic cellars — alongside his Château de Charmont in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits — Laurent has worked tirelessly to return Edouard Delaunay to the forefront of Burgundy.
