Beyond the Glass: An Evening with Frapin Cognac

Beyond the Glass: An Evening with Frapin Cognac

September 1, 2026

Cognac is too often reduced to a single style poured after dinner. Frapin, one of the few Cognac houses to grow, distil and age everything on its own estate in Grande Champagne, tells a more complete story, and this October the house comes to Singapore to tell it in person.

An Estate That Controls Every Step

Frapin is unusual among Cognac houses in that it owns and farms its own vineyards entirely within Grande Champagne, the first cru of the Cognac region. That control, from vine to bottle, gives Frapin's range a consistency and depth that is rare in a category dominated by large negociant houses, from the entry-level VSOP to the richer Rabelais and the historic Cognac Grande Champagne 1270.

Beyond the Glass, with Kalina Ivanova

Kalina Ivanova, Frapin's Regional Export Director, joins us for an evening built around the house's range, moving past the simple pour to explore how each expression is made and what sets Grande Champagne Cognac apart.
