Grape
100% Chardonnay
Tasting notes
Pale and bright, with a fresh, generous nose of white peach, pear, apricot, citrus and green apple, lifted by white flowers and a discreet touch of toasted nuts from the barrel. The palate is fresh and mineral yet full, with a long, clean finish. A great-value Burgundy white that pairs well with roast chicken, seafood and creamy cheeses.
About the Winery
Camille and Guillaume Boillot are writing their own chapter in Meursault. Guillaume is the son of Henri Boillot and worked alongside his father from 2011, while Camille is the fifth generation of a winegrowing family from Pommard. Together with their four children, they founded their own domaine, combining their own vines with carefully sourced grapes across the Côte de Beaune.
Les Fosses is a small, east-facing parcel of around 0.4 hectares in Auxey-Duresses, close to the border with Meursault, planted with old Chardonnay vines up to around 70 years of age.
