Tasting note
In the glass it shows a bright, mid-ruby colour. The nose opens with red cherry and raspberry, layered with soft floral and earthy undertones typical of Côte d'Or Pinot Noir. The palate is fresh and fruit-forward, with fine-grained tannins and lively acidity giving the wine energy and lift, finishing clean and moreish — an approachable, everyday expression of the Bouzereau family's terroir-driven style.
More About The Winery
Domaine Vincent Bouzereau carries five generations of winemaking in Meursault, tracing back to Pierre Bouzereau (1812–1892), a stonemason who first planted vines, and continued through his descendants Edme, Edmond, Robert and Pierre, all vignerons in the village. The maternal side of the family reinforces this heritage through the Emonins, wine brokers and vineyard owners in Volnay since Louis Emonin in the mid-19th century. Today Vincent and his wife Aline farm ten hectares spread across eight villages on the Côte de Beaune, crafting elegant, terroir-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a philosophy rooted in stewardship — in Vincent's words, "each bunch of grapes remains a gift from nature." The couple are already passing the craft on to the next generation: of their six children, son Louis is studying viticulture and oenology to carry the family's tradition forward.
