Château Lalande-Borie

Created in the 1970s by the renowned Borie family, owners of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Château Lalande-Borie has quickly established itself as a respected name in the Saint-Julien appellation. Located on the western side of the commune, the estate spans 25 hectares of gravelly soils ideally suited to Bordeaux’s noble varieties.

The vineyards are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, producing wines that reflect the balance, finesse, and power for which Saint-Julien is famed. Classified as a Cru Bourgeois, Lalande-Borie consistently delivers wines with aromatic richness, supple tannins, and elegant structure, making them approachable in youth yet capable of ageing gracefully.

Guided by Bruno Borie, the estate benefits from the same meticulous attention to detail as Ducru-Beaucaillou, ensuring quality and character across vintages.
