Château Lynch-Moussas
Classified as a Fifth Growth (1855 Grand Cru Classé), Château Lynch-Moussas is one of the historic names of Pauillac, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. Originally part of the larger Lynch-Bages estate, the property became its own domaine in the 19th century and has since established a reputation for producing authentic, structured Médoc wines.
Today owned and managed by the Castéja family, Lynch-Moussas spans around 60 hectares of vineyards planted on classic Pauillac gravel soils. The vines are predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, balanced with Merlot, yielding wines with the appellation’s hallmark power, depth, and ageing potential.
Thanks to careful vineyard management and modernized facilities, the wines of Château Lynch-Moussas are now recognized for their consistency, elegance, and accessibility, offering excellent value compared to some of Pauillac’s more famous neighbors.
