Domaine Leon Barral

Founded in 1993 by Didier Barral, Domaine Léon Barral is one of the most iconic estates in Faugères, Languedoc. With 30 hectares of vineyards, Didier has become a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture and polyculture farming, integrating cows, pigs, and crops to enrich biodiversity and soil health.

The wines – made from old vines of Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah – are renowned for their purity, depth, and authenticity, offering a true expression of Faugères’ schist soils. Barral’s meticulous, low-intervention approach has earned worldwide acclaim, with his cuvées regarded as benchmarks of the appellation.
