Tasting notes
Beautiful ruby red color with complex aroma of the wine, subtle notes of raspberry are felt, which gradually give way to more intense shades of undergrowth, mushrooms and field grasses. A bright, juicy, round, fresh taste with fruit-berry and elegant spicy notes, a good balance of acidity and tannins, dry and piquant aftertaste.
More About The Winery
Founded in 2010 by Yann Durieux, a former grower at Prieuré Roch, Domaine Recrue des Sens has become one of the most exciting names in Burgundy’s new wave of natural winemakers. Working biodynamically on vineyards around Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and Côte de Nuits, Durieux produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté with a philosophy of zero compromise, minimal intervention, and maximum terroir expression.
The wines are vivid, energetic, and highly sought-after, often released in tiny allocations that sell out quickly. From pure and mineral whites to soulful, whole-cluster Pinot Noirs, Recrue des Sens embodies Burgundy without filter – raw, authentic, and alive.
