Pomerol at its most seductive: the 2019 Château La Conseillante is a full-bodied, vibrant red built on 84% Merlot and 16% Cabernet Franc.

The aroma announces itself with fresh raspberries, plums, blueberries, dark chocolate, and violets, all set against sweet soil, damp earth, and a subtle touch of classy new oak. On the palate the wine is ample and enveloping, its concentrated mid-palate seamless, carried by vibrant acidity and ultra-fine, powdery tannins. It finishes long and structured, lifted by a distinctive saline edge tinged with licorice.
