From Domaine Bruno Clair, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France, 100% Pinot Noir with 30-50% whole-bunch vinification, aged around 20 months in oak barrels (roughly 30% new).

Luminous, transparent medium ruby-red in appearance. The aroma shows red cherries, fresh raspberries, strawberries, lifted rose petals, orange zest, and exotic spices with subtle undergrowth hints. The palate is sensual and enveloping, with lively fruit sweetness balanced by tensile, fine-grained acidity and melting, silky tannins. The finish is long and perfumed, subtly marked by white pepper and clean minerality.

Domaine Bruno Clair is one of Burgundy’s most respected domaines, with over 23 hectares of vineyards spread across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. The domaine’s history traces back to Joseph Clair, founder of the famed Domaine Clair-Daü in 1919. After its dissolution in 1985, Bruno Clair reassembled key parcels from his family’s vineyards in 1986, gradually expanding to include iconic terroirs such as Clos St-Jacques, Vosne-Romanée, and Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle.
