Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot
Tasting notes
A classic, Médocain second wine full of graphite and cassis, with red cherries, bilberry, crushed violets and hints of spring flowers and leafy herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity and fine tannins, tightly wound yet fresh, and it has gained in depth and harmony with time in bottle. Now in a lovely drinking window; serve with lamb, steak or roast duck.
