A thoroughbred Santenay Premier Cru with aromas of ripe dark fruits, blackcurrant and plum, liquorice and gentle spices. The palate is deep and generous, with balanced tannins and a lovely, expressive finish. Enjoy with roast lamb, beef or mushroom dishes.
About the Winery
The Muzard family is one of the old winegrowing families of Santenay, at the southern tip of the Côte de Beaune, where the domaine is now run by brothers Claude and Hervé Muzard. Their vineyards are concentrated in Santenay, with further parcels in neighbouring Chassagne-Montrachet and Pommard, and the estate is regarded as one of the reference producers of the village.
Beauregard is one of Santenay's higher-lying Premier Cru vineyards, on the slope above the village, producing reds of good structure and depth.
