Pale lemon yellow. Fresh and light with excellent energy, this Meursault shows ripe lemon on the nose, a good concentration of fruit on the palate and clear, bright acidity on the finish. Aged with a modest share of new oak, it is a precise, mineral style of Meursault that pairs well with white fish, seafood, poultry and soft cheeses.
About the Winery
Camille and Guillaume Boillot are writing their own chapter in the heart of Meursault, bringing together two Burgundy winemaking families. Starting with just two plots, they now work holdings and carefully sourced grapes across Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Pommard, producing modern, precise and expressive Burgundies.
Les Clous lies on the higher slopes of Meursault, on pale, stony soils that give the wine its freshness, tension and finesse. The grapes are hand-picked and the wine is aged in French oak barrels.
