Tasting notes
This wine shows a deep garnet-ruby hue with vibrant clarity. The nose is rich and layered, revealing blackcurrant, plum, and blackberry, with hints of herbs, eucalyptus, and violets. Subtle notes of cedar, vanilla, and spice add complexity. On the palate, it's full-bodied and structured, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and well-integrated oak. Concentrated dark fruits lead to a long, refined finish marked by dark chocolate, spice, and mineral nuances. The finish is long and refined, shaped by 18 months of maturation in 100% new French oak barrels and an additional 12 months of bottle aging before release.
A bold, precise, and expressive wine that combines the power of Cabernet Sauvignon with the elegance and freshness afforded by high-altitude terroir. It’s a world-class example of the emerging potential of China’s Yunnan wine region.
