Le Mesnil-sur-Oger was chosen not by chance but by conviction its deep chalk soils and northerly exposure producing Chardonnay of unrivalled tension and longevity. Since its acquisition by Laurent-Perrier in 1988, Salon has remained fiercely independent in spirit, releasing on average fewer than ten vintages per decade.
