Tasting notes
The Château de Meursault Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champ Canet" 2022 is a white wine with a pale lemon color. It offers a complex and powerful nose, combining notes of white flowers, citrus fruits, and honey with a strong mineral backbone. The palate is rich and generous, exhibiting a beautiful tension and a remarkably persistent, saline finish.
More About The Winery
With 60 hectares of vines – including 23 hectares in Premier Cru and Grand Cru appellations – Château de Meursault is one of the Côte de Beaune’s most prestigious estates. Its history dates back to the 11th century, and over the centuries it has passed through the hands of prominent Burgundy families, each leaving their mark.
In the 19th century, the Serre family expanded the estate and transformed the Château’s architecture, while later owners continued to develop its vineyards. In 1973, André Boisseaux, founder of the Kriter Group, restored the property with vision and passion. Since 2012, the estate has been under the stewardship of Olivier Halley, a dedicated wine lover deeply committed to Burgundy’s heritage.
Today, Château de Meursault produces wines that reflect the richness of its extraordinary terroirs, embodying finesse, depth, and the timeless grandeur of Burgundy.
